which technique you use to paint this drawing style

I used a standard round brush in photoshop. The flow is at 100% and opacity 80% with my Wacom intuos 4.

THIS IS SO AWESOME!

Vol'jin is my favourite Horde Leader out of all the others!

I'm making a fanficton story called "How She became a Darkspear" about my Fan made WoW Character Vatara (Val'tabra is her troll name by Vol'jin) and he's one of the main characters in the story and he has two surrogate High Elf daughters. I don't want to tell anything else or I will spoil the story.
